This is a very, very dark story of an assassination organization that does Big Hits using science and technology applied to the brain. Andrea Riseborough is an assassin who never leaves the lab. A person close to the target is snatched and implanted with a controller device Riseborough will manipulate when it is time for the hit. The system seems to be nearly perfect until she inhabits Christopher Abbot's mind for the last Big Hit. Things don't go according to plan! (shock)

Uncut means graphic, bloodletting violence with a quick porn shot. Not too queasy and not too titillating but be on guard. Riseborough, Abbot, Jason-Lee, and Bean give good performances and the film is mostly a niche noir.

If you like somber movies with flashes of action and twists and turns then this is a good one.
