I really liked all the narration; it explains what is going on with more detail.
It's funny, at one point I wondered if there was any spoken dialogue, which there is, but the transition to narration is so smoothly done you hardly notice.

parts were the speeches, one by Cuevas (the "God" joke) and the other by Salamone. Of course, the side narrative about the largely forgotten but immensely talented rural architect was fascinating, as well.
One thing I missed: where was "Y?" We have X and Z, and H, but what happened to it?
I think you are talking about a monolith but my memory is not very good and its been a few months since I saw it.
X, H, and Z are the central characters.
...
? Joking about what? The central characters WERE so identified.
and I do not remember what happened to Y.
