For an Amazon eight-part series this was actually pretty good from a Bubba POV. Pratt was a SEAL Commander who lost his squad of twelve to an unlikely ambush and spent the rest of his time battling a brain tumor and avenging his men plus his wife and daughter.
This is a violent thing and Pratt methodically kills about a million scumbags. The script flows and compels you to stick with it.
It's OK.
Follow Ups:
His Guardians of the Galaxy and Jurassic roles were lightweight and comedic. I haven't seen any of this series, but his previous work penned him in so tight that I can't conjure a killer image.
Two episodes were enough for me. Poorly done.
with even a whiff of a critical eye. Perhaps the effete should eschew Amazon?
Effete me? You're hilarious. Why wouldn't one watch everything with a critical eye? I've seen plenty of stuff on Amazon. In the case of the Terminal List the poor lighting and cinematography is glaring. It's there for all to see, despite you trying to marginalize my opinion. And oh, don't forget it's a snoozer...
Always keep that in mind.
Poor lighting and cinematography should count in everything mentioned here.
At least made post 1922.
Just light meters and camera angles. The lighting was shitty but the story moved. Watching two episodes are generally warm-ups.
Did I say I didn't worry about the story? This is an art form we are discussing here, no?
