Soothing....!
I'm also enjoying Dark Winds, and just got started on Yellowstone, a real Pot Boiler.
Dallas meets The Sopranos in Colorado, filmed in Utah.
Everything you want, nothing you don't...
And I saw Silverado again, from 1985, with a VERY young Kevin Costner.
Follow Ups:
Presented in typical Tony Hillerman novel style, unique and always great stuff, as seen to by Robert Redford, a producer. There was a previous series, "The Skinwalkers" in 2002, with Adam Beech as Jim Chee and Wes Studi as Joe Leaphorn. In that one, the roles of the two characters were reversed, in that Chee was the old school Navaho believer, not a Stanford grad working an FBI desk job.
Loved Dark Winds! So many good Western themed series out right now.
I saw the earlier ones too.
I like Beech and Studi a lot, seen them in other roles too.
Do you think the Writers are taking liberties with the Novels?
Chee and Leaphorn just met in this current series.
Seems like the in older ones their relationship was solid.
You kind of know Chee will see his future at the Navaho Reservation
by the end of the First Season.
