Beating AI on Netflix and HBO for single people with wide ranging taste.
Problem is you keep getting the same old choices, and want unusual new choices.
Like romance from a female perspective that is to you taste.
create a fake user name of the opposite sex
Log in as the fake person
Select movies as though the fake person is your ideal twin
Assume your fake person will watch the movie with you
Watch those movies with the fake log in
Then look at Netflix suggestions and ratings when logged in as the fake person.
You will see many more choices, that you never new existed.
When you want the same old movie choices log in with your real name.
Or just switch to the criterion channel that does not use AI.

On any streaming service. That makes it easier. I don't want to be fed what I consume. Perfectly capable of feeding myself.

  I agree that I would prefer not to employ it either actively/knowingly - or having it applied to my selections w/o my knowledge-
  The challenge is that they all believe in their own secret sauce
  which in reality is the same mayonnaise, ketchup, relish, mustard mix from 5th grade GED equivalency ....
