'BlackBerry': A sleeper . . . in a mildly amusing way.

Two Canukis have created the concept of a pager with a keyboard and phone. They don't know what they are doing marketing-wise until they meet up with a corporate shark who demands to be the CEO of the company with a 50% stake. They gave him %33 and they were off to the races.

'BlackBerry' gives us the details of the rise and fall of a good idea that didn't keep pace with the times. The cast plays it well and this film gives post-graduate pointers on Type A behavior.

The production seems to have had a budget of about $1300 but it was well spent. It has the look and feel of what you might see on Amazon so just wait and see.
