It certainly was no Oppenheimer, which was last year's summer blockbuster and arguably the most important film made this century. But Deadpool 3 was certainly light and my kid and I laughed a lot, and maybe that's the best we can hope for.

  box office success or not, you know by now, if someone thinks there is money to be made, a movie will get made.
