And it is a string of weak plot points and gaping holes saved by three fine performances -- Long, Willis and Olyphant in that order, although I could have done without all the cute shots of the Mac guy.
It was decent enough matinee material.

lives in a backwater, as I do, and wishes to get out of the house, experience some icy air-conditioning, and enjoy the group experience a film provides.
But... in Boston?
For godsakes, life is too short when one can fulfill the same criteria AND see a fine film.

Why don't you just allow people to see what THEY want and not what YOU think they should be watching?

my comments.
I could discuss your comments regarding mine.
C'mon. Post another review instead.
Your reply was more about the poster than it was about the film. The film only provided you an opportunity to make make a personal insult. Which, unfortunately, is not too unusual. As hard as it may be, perhaps you could discuss the merits of the film. Or have you not seen it?
lives in a great film town but chooses to waste his time watching crap. The first one was slightly amusing but... c'mon. The character hardly merits much more discussion.
Life is short.
One can only watch so many movies.
That was the point.
Whether or not Clark is senile for choosing the movie is not the point.
Your misplaced criticim of me seems to beg the admonition to follow your own advice.
Huh? You mean if you live podunk U.S.A, you can watch crap, but if you live in a cultural mecca, like Boston, then you should not? Problem is, you are as much of cultural elitist and as arrogant as those "elites" you criticize.
You fail to see the distinction. I criticized your post precicely because it was not about a film, but rather about Clark. On the other hand, Clark's post was about a film, not about you. But then, everything is really about you, eh?
Hope you enjoy your tour of England. Making a difference in the world, are you? Now THAT was personal.
