I have a queue of 11 movies and 9 of them are on very long or long wait status. Is blockbuster any better?

Follow Ups:
I've bought 7 discs so far and every one has played flawlessly. I've been quite satisfied about this aspect of the service. Granted, their selection isn't great but you can still get a fairly new release for 6 bucks if they overbought too many discs to rent out.

Hi,
I am at 5 at a time. My main thing is Star Trek, and about once a month
they skip over my selection and send me something else. This time I had put TWO Star Trek dvds at the top of the queue.
Didn't work.
So I had to go to the dang rental store anyway.
get turnaournd mailings the same day with arrivals the day after.
I don't order new releases from them, however, using my local video store for those infrequencies.
You can turn in movies at the counter and get another one.

...Blockbuster on Tuesdays when they come out and pick up what you want.
They're not due back till the following Wednesday.
When we signed up a year ago, the quickness with which we got newly released hits convinced us to keep the service. The increase in long waits is becoming an issue for us. Waits of over a month are common for popular titles, even those we listed long before their release. There are only a couple new releases every month that we're interested in seeing.
I think it becomes inevitable that after burning through the initial backlog queue that most subscribers list, the watchable new releases drop to a trickle. Soon you're paying $10/mo to watch old stuff. We'll cancel if they can't keep up with demand. Not gonna pay a monthly fee for old stuff. I'm sure many will do the same.
When you're circling the drain, it doesn't really matter whether you're spinning to the left or the right.
Some one pointed out Netflix redid their service agreement and stated you may get faster delivery at the beginning of your service.
Obviously they have some fairly sophisticated software tracking usage. When I first started I was getting 16 to 17 a month on "3 at a time". They have delayed me so much that I'm happy to get 12 a month now.
I was commmenting earlier that I have gotten a disk from Honolulu before! Portland, Seattle, San Diego, whatever it takes to slow me down. They run a tight margin business but they are still not operating in the "spirit" of their advertising and need suing again--for blood.

I'm only on the "two per month" plan for 4.99, and I haven't experienced inordinately long waits, even for those two I get per month.
Of course, it probably depends on your movie selection. At the local library, the wait is long for recently released books. I imagine the same thing happens with movies.
Most of the movies I order from Netflix are not new . . . I compiled a list of suggestions from combing the Internet, and most are old(er) movies that Blockbuster wouldn't dare carry locally.
