Patrick,
In a thread on Kingdom of Heaven back in 2005, there was an aside about Kiwis, and 'deportation'!?
Please explain? You guys weren't tarring Kiwis with 'the convict stain' were you!? Because NZ was never a penal colony IIRC.
Or have some Kiwis in Hollywood been very publicly deported!? And if so, one hopes it wasn't for sheep-shagging! ;-)!!!

Follow Ups:
No it was meant to be Australia.
I object just a bit, because I think it is a bit hypocritical to try slur another ex-colony of that sort!? 4 fingers pointing back at you.
Britain established a convict settlement here, and sent them for about 70 years, it had to - thanks to your War of Independence*, ......
Having sent far more members of their criminal classes to the former colonies in America, and kept it up much longer, more than a century!
Or have you too succumbed to the BBBrains about your pre-independence days, only some of it from the DOAR, and the euphemism 'indentured servants'!?
Never read 'Moll Flanders'!?
* It was common in Britain from the 1760's and through the 'American Revolution' and later to attribute some of it to those criminal antecedents mingled well into your population of free persons. A lot of them Irish, to boot.
So, leave it out, willya!
Or I'll be forced to suggest that having a Mick-ish name, you're probably one of those unreliable, feckless, rebellious persons called Irishmen - ;-)!

As long you let the French out...:)
I think the French showed some moral courage in recent years!
And, I love cooking and French Baroque music, and plays, and literature!
And art, and everyone in their music, except Boulez when he opens his gob about HIP. And very probably their own BRIGHTTTTT grand pianos! ;-)!
I hope that isn't too many exemptions I'm claiming.
Yanks? why? it's too easy!!!!
;-)!
So it's really Patrice, is it!?
Mine's 'Timothy!' when I'm in the poo with SWMBO, and Tim /Timbo the rest of the time.
I just get a bit pissed off with the gooey cleaned-up version of their history that so many Yanks seem to 'believe' in!

No really Patrick! My mother after visiting England and Irland had a crush on that name, but there are many " Patrick´s " in France.
Well Timothy nice to meet you.
PS: Our young dog just died and my thoughts are still unfocused, so the short answer.
