is a fabulous character, in Dandy in Aspic. Russian agent, who finds out his best friend\fellow Russian agent has been given assignment to kill him, and if he allows it, the Russian SS will benefit. And he is heroin addict anyway, so what is his life worth???

If you liked that actor, take a look at films like Brat, Shiza (I think you already know that one), and... if you have stomach for it: Of Freaks and Men.

  bored and found myself fast forwarding.
  Maybe it was my mood at the time but I just couldn't get involved. I think it may have been that the film assumed it was shocking but, in today's moralistic vacuum, I didn't find it particularly subversive.
