but this one is too tough to sit through, I need a break.
The Bridge.
XLNT documentary.
I don't know how this topic will go 90 minutes. Beautiful photography and insights from survivors into people who jump off the Golden Gate Bridge. 4 stars out of 5.
Follow Ups:
He was a friend of mine (of sorts at least). Helluva tennis player but crazier than a March hare. He lived on the dole and camped out in the bushes surrounding the tennis courts at the west end of Funston (now Moscone) Park in the Marina.
One day after tennis he was more depressed than usual and went to the GGB and took a leap. Son Of A Bitch lived. Coast Guard got there pretty fast and fished him out, he only had a broken ankle. That was ten years or so ago and I haven't seen hime since (my trips out there are pretty non existent nowadays).

Fort Worth I love you
I have to say it gets worse as the movie goes along. Very weird format, they jumble people talking "Paul seemed OK, and then one day he just got..Jessica picked up her lunch and went..Harry just.." and you watch people on the bridge ready to jump, but you don't know which of the people that are being described in the voice overs is the person ready to jump (or jumping). Very annoying. They also add splashing sounds in post production.
Felt like a drama at times (but with no dramatics).
Like to say I enjoyed it but it's tough to say one enjoyed looking so far into the damage and suffering of so many people.
