I started watching this because I got a Lucy Liu Jones. Well, if you thought 2.5 Men was ribald, CM is just despicable. Two episodes included a running "revenge sex" story that all the girls approved and urged their girlfriend to pursue as a way to finally pay her philandering husband back for all his indiscretions. Scenes included the jumpy hubby, his arrogant paramour, and a college fantasy beau. What a fine example of how to live your life.

I know we are never going to get a remake of "Leave It to Beaver" on prime-time TV but this stuff is getting way over the top for young teen channel changers.

A guy I play tennis with two or three times a week likes Cashmere Mafia. He's described nothing, as you have, that would make me want to watch it/

  I doubt that Cashmere Mafia is our cuppa tea either; I'm no prude (and if you've read any of Rox's novels, you know she isn't either), but CM just sounds waaaayy too exploitive, like most so-called reality-based pablum. Tennis OTOH, that's much more interesting, and healthier to boot! :O)

    Don't know that we're gonna stay tho. Time will tell, but the show's gimmicks have the potential to wear thin. As a fan of "dark/serious" dramas, this one's got a ways to go to win me over.

        Pushing Daisies comes across as a brilliant grown-up homage to the old "Fractured Fairy Tales" animated series narrated by Edward Everett Horton, but PD targets a more sophisticated audience; this series also owes a lot to the quirkiness of filmmakers like Tim Burton and Terry Gilliam.

        Is it currently on haitus? Or if still showing, what night/time?
        The only "Pushing" hit I got was Pushing Tin. Thoroughly worthy IMHO
