I was watching the first season of Wonder Woman on DVD. There was one sequence (supposed to take place outside of Washington, DC during WWII) where Nazis come to the test flight of a new airplane and there's a big fight and the bad guys steal the airplane. Those white pillars looked familiar to me. And they were hiding out around the corner by a hay bale and a cow. And the quonset huts. As the plane took off I clearly recognised the surrounding landscapes. They filmed that sequence at CHINO airport in 1976! Cool.
There was another scene that looked very familiar to me. I instantly recognised it as downstairs delivery area of The Television Center building on Cahuenga just south of Santa Monica Boulevard. I knew that part of the building so well because that's where I always park when I go visit Precision Mastering Studio.
This scene snapshot is funny cuz there is a late model car in the parking lot across the street in the background.

...had to have the 1st year of "Emergency!" Man, that show was boring!
Tee hee... when in Anaheim with the wifey on business, I drove to Carson to see the "Squad 51" firehouse. Looks the same...
TV Land has the "Six Mill" on not too long ago... that sucked as well!
Uugh... I've now seen that, the Brady Bunch house, the Tate/LaBianca residences (Manson)... why?
Sucks... but fun in a strange way.
I used to love that show. I don't think time has been particularly kind to it, but then again, I'm addicted to '70s cheese! :)
E.g, the mini-series Centennial will be released for the "first time" on July 2008.
Yet they have Centennial available, on DVD-R. Did someone just get a VHS and transfer it to DVD-R? Where's the MPA when you need them? I don't need them often, but hopefully their policing will stop some poor quality releases.
Sorry, seems to be my first answer to many a question these days!
