Again, Jason Stratham proves he should have been chosen for James Bond. He actually emotes in this movie, and acts. The plot is far more complex than just a bank heist. I have seen another movie about this same incident, I can't remember the details. But his one was well acted by every member of the cast. It was disconcerting seeing Rumpole's "Guthrie Featherstone" looking so GD old!!!! My favorite character in the movie was the city of London. The tube, the skylines, Marleybone (I know you spell it some weird way). God, I love that city, and this movie is all about London. Soho to Scotland Yard.
The woman who plays the sexpot is hot as blazes and has the lips that Angeline Jolie was trying to get before she turned herself into Chucko. The only weak spot, the wife is over the top, her acting is too Shakespearean
Eight stars out of 10.
Follow Ups:
I was rather disappointed. Everyone seems to say it was better than expected, but I found it mediocre at best. I found most of the characters to be incredibly stupid. Hasn't anyone there heard of finger prints?
I do feel that this was one of Stratham's better roles, but it could have been better written.

...the camera even noting the shaking dishes and stuff, but no response from anyone. Ridiculous.
But as I wrote earlier, the final twenty minutes were highly satisfactory.

But they had told the landlord and neighbors and other people they were going to be doing remodeling around the clock for renovations.
...the bank doesn't wonder either?

...wadaya know - an intelligent entertainment for adults.
I liked the wife - Keely Hawes. Quite in character for that milieu. BTW, Keely is of autthentic working class background...the daughter of a London cabbie.
