But never could.
Many actors, many ways of filming, mimicating some of the best directors like Dylan took his heritage of the folk song history of his country to adapt it to his own style and personality.
A good poetic film, but better be a Dylan fan...
Not bad at all!

Follow Ups:
Disjointed series of odd impersonations of Dylan but not really Dylan but yes really Dylan. The movie hangs in a void with no direction. I'd rather just listen to Dylan.
... home.
The developing emptiness and disassociation was something that Dylan only found a way out of when he crashed his bike.
It was during that 65/66 year an essential part of his music and probably a hell of a lot easier to take when listening than while living it.

I loved the Scorsese documentary. it kind of put this film to shame. It did everything "I'm Not There" seemed to be trying to do but did it effectively.
I've seen Bob Dylan twice in concert; once he was great, the 2nd time close to the worst concert I've ever attended....
The Zimm maintaining a distance from the media has never hurt his "myth"
I guess the film won't either...
