  I wonder if CAPTAIN VIDEO could ever be restored. So much for the "death" of film. We can still see THE WIZARD OF OZ is all of it's 3 strip TECHNICOLOR splendor and look what they have done to such classics as LAWRENCE OF ARABIA, SPARTACUS, VERTIGO. I think they should send it to Robert Harris at Universal and have him restore it.

    I've got a Japanese release on, of all things, CD video, that has quite a few scenes the Giorgio Moroder soundtracked 1980's release ( and the Japanese laser disc ) just don't have

    Mostly scenes of outdoors Dresden, and Maria captured by Rotwang
    I'm very interested to see what extra footage will be included in the BluRay release
