His top ten lists usually suck and that's the only part of his show worth watching. I am always amazed that he has lasted this long but then I am reminded that in the late hours viewers are often loaded up on some sort of drug where I suppose he could be funny. And Jimmy Kimmel is even worse which I didn't think was possible

  I think it was a crime that they gave Leno Carson's spot. Leno's WAY over-rated IMO. Conan, etal, even worse.

    Carson is a million times better than Letterman. Letterman is often unprepared - his interviews are atrocious, his monologue is unfunny. Leno is watered down.
    
    Letterman's employee and follow-up act Craig Ferguson is the only late night guy worth watching.
