Thought you can do no wrong with her in a film, fine actress she is!
The quality of the film technically speaking is stuning, the movements are fluid, carved in marble the shooting, even the sound is quite all right.
The film?
The ET for the poor.

Follow Ups:
As for the film-ET for the poor is a pretty apt description. Very derivative and forgettable.
We took Yonnie's who are(were) 4 and 5 at the time and they LOVED it.
Kind of like ET?
Yes, but the Simpsons are the Flintstones aren't they?
And Bilko WAS Top Cat.
.
I was there and it is much much more beautiful when you stand there.
Live.
For kids much too cruel and for grow up a bore.

My wife is as Scottish as they come-house of Stuart on her mother's side, Montrose on her father's.
We will get there, one day soon. My father (who has never been able to travel due to health reasons) reminds me often that I should never put off seeing the world, because you never know.......
The problem is not to get there, it is to remain there...
Do you still have relatives there? I mean your wife...

She has family in Britain that she has not seen since she was a girl-yet another reason to go.
I was taking a walking tour in Chicago sponsored by the Chicago Architecture Foundation several months ago-there was a nice young couple with a baby from Edinburgh that I enjoyed chatting with (she grew in Dallas, Texas, her husband is Irish). They raved about the city, the wonderful amenities and culture, plus the beautiful countryside just minutes away.
They were very persuasive......I'm ready to go.
Edinburgh is the most beautiful town you can imagine, the only draw back not open fire is allowed anymore in the town.
And trust me it is a place where you do need a fire place...
But that was long ago, maybe it has change.
People were so nice...the weather even worse as they say.
Wonderful!
You got to get there!
