Both meaningless but 3 has different neat stunts, a sassy lady, and Statham's murderous martial arts. Only at the very end did he actually pick up a gun.
Advantage to 3 as it is shorter than Solace.
Follow Ups:
...Grits, and it pales in comparison to Solace.
The martial arts scenes are well choreographed but pretty hokey - he comes out without a scratch each time. The second scene he fights 10 guys with tire irons - right.
Then the big guy comes along and throws him head first through a brick wall and he isn't even dazed.
How did he mnage to get the Audi up on two wheels to drive between those semis?
And he drives off the top of the train into the train car that's pulling away - right.
Not as good as Transporter #1 and not as entertaining as #2.
...the critics were lukewarm to Solace because of the non-stop action and meager plot and character development.
But they absolutely hated Trans 3 - non-sensical, etc.
I really enjoyed Trans 1 and thought it was the best of the series.
Trans 2 was a hoot, unbelievable and not as good of a film.
I'll reserve 3 for DVD.
Seeing Solace today.

" Moonraker" was one of the silliest films I've ever seen. I was laughing my head off with the multiple shuttle launches and space raygun fights. I prefer a more serious Bond.
Moonraker had Roger Moore as 007 - the sillier Bond film than even "Casino Royale" with Peter Sellers as Bond (with Sellers going through an image adjustment before the camera).

...and my daughter and I really liked it.
Daniel Craig carried the film - he's near Connery, IMO.
I'll see it again when it comes out on DVD.
Can't say that for any of the Transporters.
.
...he's a blue collar Craig/Bond wannabe.
