successfully walks the tightrope between maudlin and extremely emotional.
The lead actor is a force, easily the equal of any other middle-aged actor out there as is the older, successful character's actor.
Sometimes, you can relax and let a story just unfold, knowing from small touches you are in the hands of a master. This is one such experience.
Thanks for the recommendations, guys. I missed this one when it came out. Never had heard of it.

I think I need to see this again soon, of all the films I've seen in the last few years, this is one of the most memorable.

I saw it quite a while back, and had almost forgotten it, and how good it was. It was very good, and one I'd see again, definitely.
