His interviews about her seem very honest and heart-wrenching.
Baba-Booey to you all!
it happened. I never heard of an official investigation into the possibility of murder but I did wonder.
-Wendell
...I always assumed she was erm...inebriated, and either fell in the pool, or passed out and fell in the pool. She was a heavy drinker.
And it's rather sad and chilling to listen to; with details about how he drags her out of the pool.
That whole album is a highly unusual affair compared to his other "recorded efforts"; very memorable in strange ways.

and an "accident."
Seems to happen a lot to Hollywood celebrities, out of all proportion actually.
OJ, Blake, Shatner, Spector.
Strange.
"The post-mortem found the former model broke her neck when she dived or fell into the pool while alone at the couple's home.
"The immediate cause of death is attributed to drowning associated with neck trauma, and the manner of death will be listed as accidental," said a Los Angeles coroners' spokesman.
Nerine was Shatner's third wife. The pair had considered divorce in1998, but had later been reconciled."
Tin - the woman was a lush, an alcoholic. Sad to say but very true. I knew her only slightly but I've seen her when she could barely walk to her hotel room so I find the fact that she died in a pool "accident"...plausible.
Bill ain't no saint but he sure ain't no OJ.
I never saw her sober...including one memorable occassion at a meeting one morning at 8:30 am. One the persons who was with us kept calling her "Marcy" (for Marcy Lafferty Shatner, the previous wife). And Bill likes his drinks too, but is hghly functional.
Elizabeth, the current wife, I know a bit better. She's a very nice gal, younger than Bill, a former horse trainer, originally from Indiana - we grew up about 4 miles from each other. Liz lost her first husband tragically young from bone cancer. She and Bill have the horses in common, and she's a strong personality.
