This Sandra Bullock vehicle is a romantic comedy (recently apparently this has become known as RoCom???) is surprisingly funny and charming with only the slightest amount of flatulent(ly written) vulgarity.
If you have seen reviews you will know the storyline (fake marriage to avoid deportation leads to true love) but it's the way it is hadnled that impressed me.
It really is funny.
Bullock genuinely puts herself into the role without self conciousness and the film benefits for it.
Good performances all round, although the immigration oficial is more than a tad salivating at another victim.
Bullock looks great nude.
How old is she now? Ahhh... coming up to 45.
Yes she definitely looks good without appearing starved.
A date movie definitely, a good choice for a wetw eekend home viewing as well.
It's not going to be on a list of best films of all time, but a very enjoyable film.
Follow Ups:
It was very enjoyable.

recently apparently this has become known as RoCom...
no it's RomCom.
As to The Proposal, I saw the preview. That's enough for me.
... which were used here.
They give a wrong feeling (!!) for the film.
Thanks, yes, RomCom it is!

not a particularly appealing preview to me, although some in the audience thought it was funny.
... seem to have wandered in from a different film starring that fair haired guy who tried to top himself....

She said it was hilarious, funny and entertaining from start to end. Two of our nieces (18 and 12) that went agreed. Irony; Sandra has to marry Ryan to prevent getting deported back to Canada. In reality, Sandra is American, Ryan is Canadian born (Vancouverite).
In the larger theater I saw Terminator with their sister (16) and dad, we thought it was an entertaining popcorn flick without any outstanding acting by any means. Bale played this like he played Batman, wooden. Still, for this type of movie I thought it entertaining.

...a Mick-flick?
And never the twain shall meet.
