the big fat whale of the female variety sitting in front of me evidently couldn't read but damn, she sure could text!
Good flick. Excellent performances from mostly a no name cast. (A few "names" with very few lines). Edge of yer seat suspense

If you want to text why come to a movie? Just put that money in the gas tank and go have a wreck.
NO GRITS NO GLORY
It's the amount of wrapped "food" that needs opening and the talking that gets me.
Anyone using a phone should have it taken off them and thrown away.

...prolonging the agony.
The same with people unwrapping lozenges at symphony concerts. They wait til the slow movement, pianissimo passage, and unwrap whater it is as slowly as p[ossibly, to create maximum annoyance.
UGH
Have to be careful nowadays what you say in cinemas.
Best Regards,

Shut-up....erm...PLEASE?
but the hog was with a guy who looked like a disabled vet. I bit my tongue, hard.
Did ya see the flick? or has it not hit the hinterlands yet? It's in the art house cinemas here.

NO GRITS NO GLORY
The Guy Pearce character was one of the most compelling.
It's kind of like a song where there's an amazing riff but they only play it once or twice.
"The man is only half himself, the other half is his expression." -- Ralph Waldo Emerson
And yes, maybe I missed something, but,
After they come up on the British 1/2 squad with the flat, 3 brits are picked off in few minutes, obviously by a sniper. They determine the fire is coming from a small building 850 yards away.
In the interior shot from the hut it appears the insurgent sniper is using an AK 47. He's made 3 perfect shots (apparently without a miss), with an AK, from 850 yards. We're armed with a state of the art sniper rifle, and can't deliver a round within 5 feet from a perfect prone position. Admittedly the first two hits were with our guys having not located him yet, but still....
Didn't diminish my enjoyment one bit, excellent movie deserving of its raves.
