accuracy in the beginning of the skirmish, 3 for 3 kill shots within a minute or two and then nada for the next fifteen minutes? What was he doing, smoking a doob to celebrate?

took out the best actor. I enjoyed the movie which had the built in suspense of the "bomb defuser guy." Thought the HBO series, Generation Kill was similar in style and done better. Still, a good movie, solid B.
I think Ralph was taken out second?
I'd also argue that Guy Pearce is hard to top in film these days (the first guy blown to bits).
I would have liked to see more of Pearce.
He really nailed the characters combination of smoothness/ease/bravado with seriousness/focus/command.
