A good sneak peak at a socialist society where everyone is somewhere between poor and lower middle class. Obama has us well down this path.

It took two viewings to totally understand the full depravity of the vampiress.

Also took two viewings to see the foreshadowing and other artistic touches.

Good movie, but unsettling.

We'll have to agree to disagree about global warming until the next global cooling scare comes along

Agreed, politics has nothing to do with the movie other than to provide a backdrop. I tend to mostly post on the "Outside" so I sort of get jaded at times.

Don�t think it has anything political.
It a dark somber poem.
I would even not try to analyze it in ANY way.

All you has to known is some basic on Stocker�s book or the 1000+ film on this theme.

But the beauty of Eli is haunting. A sexless all in her eyes beauty.
