I don't know, but maybe. It's been a long time since we've had great film producers like Igmore Bergman, Fellini, and Kurosawa but there may be a new one on the horizon that's making waves at Cannes. His name is Wong Ka-Wai of Hong Kong. If the two films he has produced are an indication, then he has a great future. Never, since Kurosawa has a producer framed images as pure art, and this is what Wong Ka-Wai has done. The two films 'In The Mood For Love' and it's sequel '2046' are films that are thought provoking as well as an experience in pure visual and artistic expression.

Cuz those guys all look like film *directors* to me. (Thanks, dave c)
Igmore??? Were you sober when you typed this? Just wondered...
Wong Kar-Wei has been highly regarded for many years, he ain't exatcly a new face. But I agree he's a fine filmmaker.

and the soundtrack so moody you can't help but be mesmerized.
Share a bowl of grits with someone you love tonight.
Wong Kar-Wei is well known and has been around over 20 years as a director now. See wikipedia article.
While it is true that Ingmar had a brother Igmore, he is not actually respected as much. Igmore's movies, such as the Sixth Seal and Wild Prunes, were not exactly triumphs.
bleep
Do you mean Ingmar Bergman?
And the three gentlemen you mention were all primarily directors.
Is this gentleman of whom you write a director?

I think he confused the name with the actress, Imgrid.
;)
I wouldn't rave so highly about him, but the film was at least good.
;-)
