A heavily weight gained Matt Damon plays an apparently hapless corporate employee blowing the whistle on his bosses... but wait! There's more... much more!
And this is either an unbelievable spider's web or a highly amusing film that reveals a bit more in each scene and is in fact based on a real event. The voice overs are particularly hallucinatory!
I found it firmly in the latter camp and the time just shot by.
Is it another Catch Me If You Can or a Forrest Gump of a corporate expose?
Actually a bit of both but something all its own, although at times you have to remind yourself that this comedy is about worldwide corporate malfeasance.

gem, a truly great American film.
...just don't expect anything like The Insider.
Damon is outstanding, some of his best physical acting (and I don't meant the paunch or the wig). Melanie Lynskey (as his wife) is purely wonderful.
Soderbergh is back on form with The Informant.
There isn't really anything that absolutely REQUIRES a large screen.
