I admit it - I've just become hooked on "The Legend of the Seeker". It was interesting during its first season, but has grown even more intriguing during its current second season, due in no small measure to the increased presence of the character of Cara, played by Tabrett Bethell (who, before her acting career took off, was a cheerleader for an Australian rugby team!).
The fascinating thing about the character is that she seems to be helping the good guys and yet she has an evil past, so they don't know if they can really trust her - some nice dramatic tension results.
As for the actress herself, all I can say is, "Yowza!"

I don't think she's all that but of course I'd fuck her........

Question "Authority", the mainstream media sucks - Go Independent and hold BOTH parties accountable instead of just the other guys!

find a real one in real life instead of the fantasizing.
I always liked Geri Ryan as Seven of Nine in Star Trek TNG.
And old school - Leela from Doctor Who
"find a real one in real life instead of the fantasizing."
What makes you think we haven't?
Big scene in the DC area.

Er, Mord Sith.
She does add some spice (and leather) to the show.

For another example, see below on this thread.
Yes, the S/M and D/s was the only interesting part of a really REALLY bad book. About a year or so ago, I was dating a girl that insisted I read the books the series is based on. I held my nose and read the first three, then said I had enough. The TV show is better.

. . . but I've read similar comments to yours on some of the LotS forums: there's a lot of agreement that the TV series is better than the books - I think the picture above is self-evident proof of this. :-)
...Xena, Warrior Princess, from time to time, but I think I grew out of it...

This is Jessica Marais as Mistress Denna, another Mord'Sith dominatrix type character in the show. With all these bad-ass babes, it's no wonder that this series is destined to become a big hit! :-)BTW, in an episode commentary, the actress mentioned that it takes 20 minutes just to get out of that costume.
EDIT: I had to find the image on another site because no hot linking was allowed from the site I originally chose.

We'll have to agree to disagree about global warming until the next global cooling scare comes along
Yes - the costume makes the WHR kind of leap out at you. Jessica Marais (Mistress Denna) mentioned on one of the commentary tracks that she thought these costumes were wonderful and that the costume designer deserved special recognition! I'm sure many of us would agree. :-)In this week's (repeat) episode, Mistress Cara (Tabrett Bethel) is asked by her sister to change out of her Mord'Sith costume, because "the leather is terrifying the children!"
BTW, I just saw the teaser for next week's episode (in the U.S.) It seems to suggest it will be Mistress Cara vs. Mistress Denna - who can inflict the most pain?. I tell you, TV just doesn't scale these heights of entertainment awesomeness very often! :-)

...from violin babes to this.
. . . on the babe violinist front lately. And besides, babe violinists don't have great outfits like that.
I also like the way this actress often contrives a sarcastic, "bad girl" inflection in her lines - it keeps the dialogue interesting. :-)
