again according to Ebert, before critics applauded Jeff's performance.
It is a formula picture. A Hollywood trope. Old basket-case, much younger woman to save him. Did I say "much?"
I love Jeff but Gyll and Duval, two of my least favorites (Bobby is all tics and mannerisms and shit-eating grin)--- may be too much for this grand-old soap-opera to overcome.

San Rafael may be a better choice for you: the Dixie School District is a superior one. The proximity to the Lucas Valley, a great entertainment center, ain't bad for networking, I'd imagine.
Good info.
The weather postponed my trip so I drive up this weekend and have to find a place within a couple of days as we'll be moving up on the 1st

Eichler homes. If you're not aware of these mid-century classics, do a google. There's a bunch of 'em in S R, always three or four for sale.
I spent about a year and a half up there and learned the area real well and still have great frends there. A bit north of San Rafael is Novato. Better schools (or so San Francisco drinking buddy claims). They left Sausalito and like it much more up there. Commute n is a bitch at the wrong time of day......
Thanks for the input... I'll check it out for sure but the extra time on the commute might keep me away from home too long.
