I think he's probably best appreciated as a clown--in the noble tradition--rather than as an actor, which he isn't. Personally I prefer actors to clowns. Most of his output is clown material: sissorhands, pirates, willie wonka, alice, etc. Perhaps Depp lives in France because they appreciate clowns like Jerry Lewis. Just a thought...

      I'm not a big fan of Depp's, nor do I care for any of the movies he's made since Donnie Brasco or Blow. But I have never considered him to be a pedophile - especially in comparison to Jacko who I feel very certain was into molesting kids. Besides, Depp's an entertainer, not a priest!
