  I thought she was a bright spot in an otherwise ordinary film. She has great authenticity in every scene and seemed to absorb her character. I think its great that she showed what a spectacular form she still has at her age. Clearly the role allowed her to show a range and a side she had not shown in other films. Much like her role in "In The Bedroom" showed her in a different light than before or My Cousin Vinny for yet another character extreme.

  Every film I have seen where she has a minor or major role, she stands out from almost all the other actors, even the leads. While I may have a mini Marissa crush I am not alone in thinking of her as one of the better, under appreciated actresses of her generation.

  Or maybe its just me and Italian women. I happen to like Anabella Sciorra in all her films too :0)

    I think her best role, by a long shot, was in My Cousin Vinny.

      "Way too old" was what the film was about - going on too long without positive growth is self limiting and/or self destructive.
