I have to admit the title immediately bring back the memories of Fellini's Roma... or to a lesser degree Tati's Mr. Hulot's Holiday, and as such sets the plank at an impossibly high level.
And sure enough you will see some superficial parallels. In all these films the city plays the major role. To the point that you are about to turn it off and scream "Enough already!"... but you don't, and you get rewarded with one of the warmest human study.
Unfortunately for all of us, Klapisch doesn't make many movies... this is shame, because he certainly knows how. His Family Resemblance has forever established itself as one of the points of reference in this family.
The film is yet another collage of many unconnected personal stories... yeah... how many such films have been there before, you say? But the devil is in the details, and Klapisch knows his details.
There is really no point in mentioning or describing the sub-plot lines, enough is to say that some of them have depth and insight, some have sadness and a couple sparkle with brilliance. All told, a wonderful set, certainly worth your buck-fifty.
Klapisch has light touch, and this film is no exception, you can actually call it light fair with hard core, and not be wrong.

Ok we have two films.
Paris and Paris Je t´aime-
The second one is a multi directors work.
Paris, is uneven, with some good portions and some...Hum not so.
A middle of the road picture.
The second one, is vastly superior ( for me ) with really brilliant sketches.
On the artistic level on the whole very satisfying.
