Follow Ups:
A good friend of my wife is down there. She was in line for "Game Of Thrones" , but didn't get in.

Yes it is very entertaining. Those people are film buffs to the core. Nice to see people so exited about all those media events.
Where in B.C. are you? I lived in whistler for 4 years in the early seventies.
I'm in Victoria.
Whistler in the early seventies must have been very interesting.
jeff
Whistler in 1972 was a small community. It was the village of Alta Lake and it seemed everyone knew each other. There was only two food stores-both small ones. Always ran into Nancy Green, Mccoskey, Seppo Makinin, and ski stars. Actually it was a bit more organic then. You had to do a lot of walking through snow.Quiet place in 1972---except at the lifts. I miss that olympic run.A 1/8 pipe that winded through the woods for 7 miles.
Sounds exactly like I would have imagined it to be back then. Not like that now, that's for sure.
jeff
but i'll leave it. Took this nice pic of pretty young girls.
