You think national character is some genetic trait? Anyhow, Japanese films have their fair share of violence, retribution, too. Come to think of it, how about the American torture genre that so absorbs you?

sum small to respect your personal situation. I worked for Southern Marine Ship Supply in Savannah for five years. Minshul Shin was one of our two Korean sales guys, can't recall the other guy. It was in the early eighties. C'mon, put up or shut up. The owner still is a friend, he sold it several years ago. He's a stand up guy running a different company in Savannah. Did I say, "put up?"
