about 2/3 way thru. It was fairly engaging for the story, but not great overall IMO.
I think Eastwood films have a dry quality to them. Hard to explain, sterile is not quite right but in a way 'lifeless'. The look of it was so dull, maybe it was supposed to mirror Hoover's personality?
Maybe he is a better storyteller than director?
Maybe just not my style...
my two cents...

talents hit a trey?
One of the ticket kids told me some gray hair and her husband walked out at the end saying it was the worst language they've ever heard. I was amazed after I saw it that someone would say that....I guess it was that second "cocksucker" or Nixon.
it is partly about his personal and public life but not really committed to either.
Again, I am not the biggest Clint Eastwood fan...
