I always thought Noomi Rapace was way overhyped

for this role. The Swedish version was very much made-for-tv in pace and feel. I am interested to see if Fincher's version gives it a movie feel.

  less than 5' tall and tiny. Plus, she wasn't anyone who was going to just mess with you unless you did something to her. The worse thing was having her hack your computer. As to the actress, I thought that Lisbeth was an inconsistent character, sometimes Asperger's--like and sometimes not. I never got the feeling that Lisbeth was ever dangerous with Rapace.

I liked her in the part ... as far as hype ... I knew nothing about the foreign movie trilogy when I rented it ... so that was not a factor when I watched the film. I thought her performance was quite good.
