WAY up. If Indiana Jones' exploits were adrenaline-fixed, T-T is pure crystal Meth. Hardly a moment to gather your breath as it accelerates faster and faster until it's all just a blur... but a great blur at that. Fun. Fun. Fun. Fantastic visual technique that, for the first time successfully, blends animation and reality (the characters faces are cartoon-like but, for instance, arms are "natural").
The entire menagerie enjoyed it and that's saying a lot: a more disparate group you couldn't imagine.
Follow Ups:
1) Rotoscoping.
2) 3d
3) Motion capture.
I think these technologies are a distraction from the story telling experience.
In other words..... gimmicks.

too many and fast to keep track of that makes for great fun!
Tin-Tin went by fast, once it got started, and had some nice effects and humor (Captain Haddock) and was a good time.
...and reading a few reviews.
"Frenetic pace" seems to be the theme - it's in constant motion with the "motion-capture" technology.
Of the films out currently I want to see, it's at the bottom of my top 5.

...those are #1 and #3 on my list to see.
A number of critics have put Dragon in their year's 10 best.
Tin-tin?
Not in one list I've seen.
haven't seen the original or are Hollywood hacks.
Now, I'm assuming reasonable critics that couldn't help but snicker at the remakes of "Psycho" and "Let the Right One In" that shamelessly copied the originals almost frame-by-frame.
The lack of originality in Hollywood is only surpassed by the lack of critical awareness.
...is nearly 2-1/2 hours long and just by the previews, I can see it's much different than the Swedish version which I've seen.
Neither film is original since they are based on a popular book, which I've read.
Tin-tin is not really original either, based on a comic book.

...Dr. Spock impression.

Tin Tin...I saw many trailers. It is bad so bad. No spririt of the real...
