If you like the bloody Korean films, this one is one of the bloodiest that I have seen. Unlike some others, it has a workable plot and good characters, so if gore is your thing, you might appreciate this one.
Follow Ups:
Yes takes awhile to get going but a gripping film--
If you fancy some good ole Aussie MotherF***ker revenge-with NO Hollywooditis

...tentatively added it to my queue, although it comes with a very low rating of 1.5... making it hard to justify pushing my wife's movies aside for this one! :)
You DON'T want to watch this with your better half I'd think
Anyway Ocker Urban grit is not for the fair sex!
I'll rethink my choices next time
Good viewing

No, I never watch something like that with her, these are for my lonely late night viewing hours only. There I can do whatever I want with streaming, but the "One at a time" DVD program is firmly reserved for movies she approves, by an unwritten, but hard rule. So I sometimes sneak in a film of mine in the queue of wholesome romantic comedies and foreign classics, and if not too often, she lets it slide! :)
Well Victor I think you can assure her no one on this site would put you in harms way
I mean Debbie does Dallas and it's Ilk is so passe'!!!!!

That's why I could not find a BR of it!

It was such a frustrating exeperice for both the protaginist and the viewer. Makes you really hate thugs without honor.

I actually like short ones. If someone, whose opinion I respect, says it is a good film, that is usually all I need to know.

Seriously, are you "on the wagon" for good films?
I'm at a dead-end because Netflix isn't keeping up w/good foreign films. There new corporate plan doesn't include them.
