Much talk lately about Netflix and binge viewing it supports, looks like it is the phenomenon that will eclipse even the texting, Facebook and the rest.
Follow Ups:
It was awfully tempting to watch two or three episodes in a row of "24" thanks to the cliff-hanger endings.
I haven't done that since, not with the Sopranos, Twin Peaks, Heroes, American Horror Story, The Shield, The Wire, or UK series Heartbeat.
Just my humble opinion and all but that season put the ones before and after to shame.

"I'd like to own a squadron of tanks"
I thought it was the finale, but they announced next week's w/that teaser.
A little strange.
They tied up one bundle and presented another completely unwrapped.
Mrs wanted to see it, but also started falling asleep after the first hour... I was just sitting there bewildered at the utmost stupidity of its writers, recovering from a stressful Sunday. What a degrading spectacle that one was...
Most long shows do degrade towards the end, even the good ones like Frasier. Mad Men lost it after second season, Friends might be the only exception.
Bright spot that day - two episodes of Vicar of Dibley. That was one fine show, fortunately only 16 episodes!
Isn't it great how the "Lord" just told the lawr to FO? Those were the days.
Will he? Will she???
Do you think he is wearing white contact lenses?
this Lording stuff is new to him.
not bad
Excellent series....easy to binge on!
Watched 4 hours straight of the final season ts a few nights ago. Our best friends do the same thing. Next up, 3 hours of Downton Abbey, ditto Nashville....

"I'd like to own a squadron of tanks"
Realized this Sunday that we spent over 4 hours in front of the TV... and hated that fact!
not so good.
Yes, I binge mostly on the television series. Gobbled 52 episodes of Mad Men in less than two weeks.
Noticed that they seemed to have lost Starz as a source. I feel like I have already seen the best of what they have. Have stopped more movies after 10 to 15 minutes than I can count.

The horror.
The horror.
I think Netflix shoudl put the limit on the number of episodes you can watch per week. OK, maybe not 1 per week, but I think 7 or 8 would be sufficient.
