Fun in an eaten by sharks kind of way. After the first flick became a hit, people must have wanted a piece of the fun. Al Roker and Matt Lauer do a standup newscast with terrific dry humor, Judd Hirsch reprises his Emmy-nominated role as a taxi driver, and other stuff.
The movie plays really well off of the first version -- "It's happening again!" -- with no pretense or deflection of the silliness. No doubt you'll get a few chances to see it yet.
And Tara, the B Queen, shows less than a perfect body. Enough on that.
Follow Ups:
...Tara looked pretty bad, worse than in the first one.
The movie was not nearly as much fun as the first one because it was pretty much the same but in New York instead of LA.
The cameos made it watchable.
