Haven't seen it in forty years and didn't care for it then. Just ordered from my local library to see if my opinion is any different.

        I have no doubt your tastes are more sophisticated than mine. The lighting and exteriors were lovely. The characters had no redeeming values for me. There was really no plot which I understand was intentional. Watching a week in the lives of shallow, directionless people was tedious for me.

After the years of Victoria's Secret models (the secret, of course, is that Victoria was flat-chested and figured out a way to make falsies seem alluring�) showing off their emaciated young-boy like bodies, some men began to find them attractive. Not unlike McDonald's convincing a generation of weak-minded individuals that a wafer-like slice of over-salted, over-cooked "meat" on a soggy bun was a "Hamburger."
Anyhow, Jane Russell, Anita, Marilyn, Sophia, Gina---- those were sex kittens for men.
