How many times can you watch the same desolate futurist landscape with some wicked looking characters and a lonely cop/insurance agent?
These are so incredibly repetitious and boring. I started watching this one and it was just not moving... same old... same old... just the 143's knock off Blade Runner.

I've got a Blu-Ray copy on order. I'll report back. Hey, its sci-fi. 'Gotta have more sci-fi.

It really has some good moments.
...As the movie tells its story, the mystery gets somewhat confounding for a time, then reveals itself. Not a bad film.
Robots (automata) become self aware. Some argument about whether or not they are "alive". Then life finds a way.
I couldn't tell the bad guys from the good guys 'til I realized that,in this movie, all humans (except our protagonist & wife and newly born baby) were bad guys and all robots were ethically and morally pure.
This one didn't really pull me in.

Hey, the hooker robot was kind of sexy and I, like Banderas, almost had a thing for her. To heck with singularity, let's get it on with robot sex.PS. Vikander's sexy bot in 'Ex Machina' maybe where it's at. Woof, woof.

This way I could have saved a price of one Netflix admission.
Truth to be told, most robots are prettier than the girl in Wetlands.
.
I am sure this is not milk in that tub... looks like a Gorilka to me.
