I thought that the "Terminator" franchise was fairly well 'terminated' with that 4th movie, Salvation. Evidently not so.
Not having seen enough in the trailers I just can't see how one can justify producing an android that appears to have aged into his late sixties, as Schwartzenegger obviously has. although I'm fairly certain not to pay to see how this sequel plot works out.
On another tack; Arnie.
Of the iconic roles he's had, and there have been a few, I'd think that the one most logical to reprise would be Conan. In his later years he could be seen as finally having won a Kingdom for himself. After all it was for-seen that he would.
I should think the plausibility factor would be very high in such a sequel. Conan The Warlord. I'd like to see that one.

Follow Ups:
....invent that would cause a machine to appear to age as do humans!
but then, I still haven't seen this movie. I guess I'll need to while its up on the Imax.

It appears to be a pretty cool film, I plan on seeing it.
...the deal with this one is that old Arnie fights a younger version of Arnie.
They chose a young Austrian body builder with a physique similar to Arnie's at that age and then CGIed his face.
Man does this movie look utterly atrocious from the trailer - I got bored of the trailer after about 25 seconds. A shame - I quite enjoyed the first one (the best one IMO) - the second one (Director's cut) was solid then it went to crap.
I did however greatly enjoy the TV series with Lena Heady.
I agree the TV series ended much too soon...

"E Burres Stigano?"
Fox decided to throw it's support behind Dollhouse instead. Bad call.

I don't get the connection. I like both Summer Glau and Dollhouse. Whedon has a kind of "unique" eye for the women in his TV stuff. It's also almost a kiss of death, now that I think of it...

during its run. Unlike Firefly, however, I don't long for a reboot.

"E Burres Stigano?"
good imagination in scripting the episodes too
I enjoyed watching Eliza Dushku, but she really can't act very well.

I thought Sarah Connor Chronicles ended in perfect sync with Terminator: Salvation being released in the theater. Too bad that sucked beyond my ability to fully articulate. I went to the midnight premiere and it was the only time I've ever left a showing actually angry.
Due to the infamous meddling of Fox TV execs (not just in this) to "soften" things. You'd think Whedon would have known by then, but I guess he needed the work...then, sure not now. This was apparently the lowest-rated TV show ever to be given a second season in decades, by any network/cable/etc.
So yeah, not popular in general, and a bit messy in execution, but the concept was very good. Not particularly original, but Whedon's intentions were interesting, and when your show is continually going to be cancelled it was hard to know what to do next, episode-wise. They massively cut the budget sometime in S1 so "the plan" couldn't be implemented...yeah, I admit it shows.
I would not want to discourage anyone from watching it though, like I got the complete set on BD for $10 or something cheap like that from amazon years ago and it was easily worth it (!). I suck up this kind of stuff though, and really liked the concept of this show. I am not 100% sure this sort of thing can't be done (in reality) now...
