It's a half hour standard Schumer TV show, with the typically dirty, slutty sex "humor," stretched it into a two hour marathon where 90 percent of the jokes are leftover stand up material, and the only saving grace are the performances of washed up Saturday Night Live actors. (Colin Quinn saved the damned movie).
I winced at Schumer looking at a picture of her dead mother and commenting about how F-able she was when alive. The rest was only marginally less greasy.
I mildly chuckled twice at a few Colin Quinn lines. The ending was painfully cliched.
I felt like I needed a shower half way through this film. I would suspect those who liked it felt like they needed to like it to be somehow hip and cool.
Follow Ups:
Wasn't necessarily a tiresome ordeal for me. I had "fun". Surprised Swinton appeared but read later she and Schumer are big buddies. How did that ever happen?

American movies have been raunchy for some time now
ho hum
Of course there was the predictable "break up" towards the end with the inevitable reconciliation. Still, a good enuf effort (considering the genre) to warrant a recommendation. One oddity, besides the dozen or so late teens in the audience of 20 or so (noon), there were an almost equal number of us old farts as well.

A "second rate" Bridesmaids would make this a third-rate movie then? I really didn't like BM even though I *love* some of the women in it, in other roles, or in no role at all.
Not a convert to AS yet, seems to me to be getting her humor by saying the things that other people only think. That used to be called some sort of mental illness or developmental problem, lack of social filter etc.
Unfortunately I do laugh at it. It just doesn't seem very *smart* to me.
