Accidentally my wife ordered it again, and to say we loved it would be a heavy understatement. Simply put - a wonderful movie in many respects, so I am thinking of how to pay her back for that mistake. A Caligula, maybe?

...how it grabbed us the second time... some stuff we forgot, other suddenly had better, or stronger meaning.
For instance, I didn't recall from the past viewing such piercing, bare to the bone and dripping with passion interplay of the two main characters. This was simply fantastic, and with no recent parallel.
Something can be said for repeated viewing of most good work. I kept wondering: how could a small country of Argentine produce something that has been completely out of reach for the most powerful movie industry in the world? It felt like Beethoven moved to Mongolia, writing his 3rd concerto there, while the rest of the world was busy humming popular songs.
