I have done about four episodes, and so far like it very much. Well made show, so much superior to that Orange crap they put on.

and will watch the rest, good entertainment!
otherwise you would have liked it.
(Spoiler)
From the "make happy" last scene at the lake I believe they have pulled the rip cord on the series BUT could always come back. I think the story line is used up at this point.

Speechless, unable to write one word? :)
I mean - that movie is an ordeal, but he is supposed to be one of the most hardened fighters here! :)
It is not fair to expect Wonka and me to pull the whole (shit)load! :)
So I've seen 50 minutes total. On the basis of what I've seen so far, this has got to be the most godawful movie I've seen in my life, and I'm losing my will to make it through to the end. ;-)
BTW - did you clearly get the movie's main idea? If not, it makes sense to go back and re-watch the first few minutes, they are important.
I truly wish I could tell you it will get better... it will not. But not many people will carry the mark of distinction, the right to say: "I watched, and I survived!". For that right alone my three viewing sessions were worth it! :)
It is amazing, thought, how many people went nuts over this movie - quite a few 10-star reviews! So maybe you and I are missing something?
All I could think about as I read the extravagantly favorable critical reviews of this film on the Rotten Tomatoes site was the "Scrotie McBoogerballs" episode of South Park.
The parallels are inescapable. :)
Excellent series! Very interesting and educational, with quality interspersion of actual footage from that time period.
My wife and I are watching it, but are finding the lead characters less than convincing and having to read so much of the script is getting a bit old. On a scale of 1 to 5 with 5 being the best, I would probably give it a high 3 or low 4....just my opinion.

...it already has the ungodly high imdb rating of 9.2.
Let us be clear, we do not expect it to be a de Sica film, but as a TV production I think it really rocks. As it is a docu drama, reading does not bother me, as factual details are important in that kind of a film.
