What foreign language did Tyrell and his wife speak?
All in all, I found it not to live up to all the internet hype.
(Spoiler)
When we step into the fight club arena we begin to clone a no longer original idea.
Follow Ups:
I thought it was Swedish. Remember early on Elliott was hacking tyrells password and used something about Sweden.
But the internet recaps of the last episode say that tyrells wife's mysterious phrase was danish and something like if you did something to him I'll kill you.
Guess I'm lucky that I barely remember fight club. Any big reveal in that movie is long lost to memory for me.
Yes, Swedish.

I had them figured for eastern Europe, Ukraine, maybe. Slavic.
re: fight club. Sure. And then Sam Esmail borrows from American Psycho for Tyrell as he attempts to appear calm on the surface while barely keeping the raging furnace of psychotic turmoil from erupting into more murders.
I figure if you weren't hooked by the 2nd episode it wasn't going to take. For myself I found the early episodes drawing me in more-so than the later episodes as Elliot is finally revealed to be suffering some serious identity issues. But by then I was in for the entire ride.

I thought German...but I was told Swedish...
I made many FC parallels in the other thread...does share some major themes...BUT it also forges some new ground raises questions not yet answered...basically how far do Elliot's delusions reach?
I thoroughly enjoyed it...I enjoyed the slow play most of the twists...
thanks
Mark
They have accomplished what they wanted so what else is there unless Tyrell comes screaming back.
Tyrell, like in 'Blade Runner'? Hmmm.
