This one is currently being offered as a primo selection on Comcast's pay-per-view, so I checked it out for the $6 fee.
I like dinosaurs and people getting eaten as much as the next guy, but this one is a rip-off, pure and simple. The entire premise is bogus. After the first three Jurassic types, it was very well established that the experiment and Disney World capitalist venture were ill-conceived ideas based on greed and poor judgement. The island was closed and placed off limits.
Two decades later, some schmuck who didn't get the memo is redoing the whole thing again. This time with more emphasis on the Disney-fying, and as would be expected, the military's eyes start to glaze over and their drooling about monster weapons begins.
No one in this flick shows a lick of common sense, and all are whacko aberrant personalities. Except the character of Chris Pratt, no one has any perspective about anything. Even level-headed Pratt is in the really stupid role of a dinosaur cowboy. And as in the previous movies, there are kids who skate through the entire people-eating disaster. Tired stuff. At least they didn't squeal.
It ends in disaster as the other flicks did. That's not a spoiler. How else can it go?
Horrible acting from most players. Horrible premise for the movie. Stoopid characters throughout. Same old save-the-children theme. See it for the dinosaurs, only if you like that stuff, which are shown anthropomorphized. They get names, have personalities, and can do tricks. Before they eat.

There's no movie.

When the rampage begins people are panicking and one middle-aged guy jumps up from his table then turns back to retrieve his alcoholic beverage. Hilarious....alkies will do that. Kind of a Disney goof you have to look for.
...
....a continuation of the themes and plot formulae of the first three movies.
Although I thought the disloyal computer programmer in the first movie was a nice touch, with evil criminal intent being met with a cruel dispatch. And the cowering lawyer, sitting on the toilet in the outhouse, being eaten by the rampant T-Rex was fun. Screaming kids, not so much fun.
None of the movie sequels, including this current one manage to include any satisfying moral justice as did the first one.
Although I could come up with a complaint about this movie; the gal that was supposed to be watching over the two prominent kids in this movie seemed disgruntled in some sort of undefined way, and for undefined reasons. Then she meets a cruel death via pteradactyls. That little part of the story should have been better written. As it is, she didn't make sense to the plot.
Otherwise, CGI dinosaurs at the theme park get loose and wreak havoc on over-fed tourists. We knew that was going to happen, right!

Just kidding... we all knew that was going to happen even if we didn't see the movie because that HAD to happen!

'satisfying moral justice'? Spielberg teaching us that disloyal and cowering people shall be eaten by T Rex or worse.
He has many other tricks up his sleeve for box office money.

...it was fun and entertaining on the big screen.
What did you expect Citizen Kane with dinosaurs?
A little more story originality would have done wonders.
Dinosaurs are always fun. If that's what does it for you, then 6 bucks is worth it.
...please...you expected better?
Would the other Jurrasic sequels lead you to think that?
I thought the CGI dinosaurs improved significantly.
Happy Monday to you Kuller.
...and to you.
Sorry about your disappointment.
Did you at least get a laugh at Bryce Dallas Howard running around in her high heels?
