I have been wearing these to the movies (you will not miss a word unless you are VERY hard of hearing which ought to tell you about the volume at the movies) since The Matrix. It was just horribly loud and obnoxious where I went. it was years ago and I have never had to remove a Hearos to catch a line(amazing at 33 damn dB).

  They work great except for that time they jammed an earwax bolus down the canal. Had to go to the doc for ear dredging. He placed some small shaped charges down against the drum to blast it loose. And I wonder why I'm a few db short?
  Have to be a little careful with the shove-in plugs.
